Wednesday Updates! #ahsphysics and #ahschemistry

Hello Students!

So today was quite eventful! I hope that you all had a great day, even if it was getting quite warm by the end of it! For both my classes, we have tests coming up. It is so very important that you are using the resource provided to you to prepare for these tests. It is also very important that you use your UNIT OUTLINES as guides to figuring out what is due in physics/chemistry EACH DAY! Especially in chemistry, I will not be able to write out the assignments everyday on the board so you need to make sure (keep them in your agenda’s) that you are checking them every day for new homework updates. Changes to your UNIT OUTLINES may happen periodically in which case, those changes will either be announced in class or may also be announced online.

The following are your Wednesday updates:

Today we collected data for our different graphs that we will be producing in the lab tomorrow! Make sure that you were thinking about independent, dependent variables, and how time is unique when it comes to axis placement. If you have any questions feel free to send them my way by visiting

Hey Hey Hey! We are working through the BMR (big math review). As we do so, we will be working on significant digits, scientific notation, the metric system, conversions and SI units. If you have any questions at all please send them my way, OR you may talk with one of the other three chemistry teachers (Mrs. Brown, Mr. Watkins, and Mrs. Spencer). Make sure that you are KEEPING UP WITH THE HW! This entails checking your unit outlines DAILY!

I hope you all have a great night and I will see you tomorrow in class!

Mr. B
